The New York Magpies are an amateur Australian Football Club dedicated to establishing and growing the great Australian sport in the New York metropolitan area and across the USA.
The Magpies were established in 1998 by Erik “Chucky” Kallhovd and compete in the United States Australian Football League (USAFL). In 2008, the club expanded by adding a New York Magpies Women team.
We are always looking for new players and supporters, so come on out and join the Magpies.
The Magpies are a New York Not-for-Profit Corporation and a qualified public charity under the Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code. The club runs on the back of generous donations from sponsors and supporters. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today!
